- W2208291094 abstract "Porous micro-/nanostructures are of great interest in many current and emerging areas of technology. In this paper, porous SnO2 nanocubes have been successfully fabricated via a selective leaching strategy using CoSn(OH)6 as precursor. The structure and morphology of as-prepared samples were investigated by several techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thermogravimetric and differential scanning calorimeter analysis (TGDSC), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and N2 adsorptiondesorption analyses. On the basis of those characterizations, the mechanism for the formation of porous SnO2 nanocubes has been proposed. Owing to the well-defined and uniform porous structures, porous SnO2 nanocubes possessing more adsorbent amount of analytic gas and accelerate the transmission speed so as to enhance the gas-sensing properties. Gas sensing investigation showed that the sensor based on porous SnO2 nanocubes exhibited high response, short responserecovery times and good selectivity to ethanol gas." @default.
