Mais do que nunca, esta capacidade está fortemente relacionada à qualidade dos vínculos que a firma estabelece com as fontes externas de conhecimento, o que pode ser ainda mais relevante para o caso de empresas de países emergentes. Recentemente, ganhou destaque na literatura voltada para os gestores de firmas de países desenvolvidos o modelo da Open Innovation (OI). No entanto, a pesquisa de OI na perspectiva da firma brasileira é praticamente inexistente. O estudo retratado neste ensaio-teórico busca estender a análise do processo de catch-up da firma brasileira tendo por bases os conceitos de capacidade absortiva (COHEN; LEVINTHAL, 1990), capacidades tecnológicas (BELL; PAVITT, 1995) e capacidades dinâmicas (TEECE et al., 1997), a tipologia de redes de aprendizado e inovação consolidada por Dantas e Bell (2009) e o modelo de OI (CHESBROUGH, 2006). Como resultados principais, o artigo apresenta uma proposta de articulação conceitual destes arcabouços e discute o potencial que ela apresenta para a pesquisa teórica e empírica a respeito da inovação tecnológica na firma brasileira." @default.
