- W2208588319 abstract "Este artigo trata da reconstrução da experiência docente de Gilberto Freyre na Escola Normal de Pernambuco entre os anos de 1928 e 1929. Num primeiro nível de análise, discutimos rapidamente o contexto no qual se deu a implementação da reforma educacional que resultou na introdução da nova cadeira de Sociologia no currículo das normalistas pernambucanas. Identificamos algumas das expectativas, ambigüidades e impasses do ambiente no qual a Sociologia passara a ser valorizada para a formação de educadores. Num segundo nível de análise, examinamos o programa de curso e o texto da aula inaugural de Gilberto Freyre. A partir dessas fontes, procuramos não apenas identificar alguns dos fundamentos sociológicos do autor, mas também as expectativas acerca do conhecimento sociológico que mobilizavam esforços por sua síntese e rotinização nos anos 20. Veremos que a Sociologia foi vista, pois, como uma espécie de fundamento para a ação educacional e dedicada a conter alguns dos efeitos inexoráveis da modernização. Palavras-Chave: Sociologia, Gilberto Freyre, Escola Normal de Pernambuco, reformas educacionais, Carneiro Leão.Gilberto Freyre’S TEACHING EXPERIENCE AT the normal school in Pernambuco (1929-1930) This paper deals with the recons-truction of Gilberto Freyre’s teaching experience at the Normal School in the state of Pernambuco, from 1928 to 1929. The first stage of the analysis encompasses a brief discussion on the context in which the implementation of the educational reform took place. Its result was the introduction of a new chair of Sociology in the syllabus of the prospective elementary teachers of the State of Pernambuco. Some expectan-cies, ambiguities and deadlocks were identified in the environment where Sociology was being appraised in terms of the educator’s qualification. In a second level of analysis, the program of the course is analyzed as well as the text of Gilberto Freyre’s opening class. Based on these sources, the aim was not only to identify some of the author’s sociological fundamentals, but also the expectancies about the sociological knowledge that mobilized efforts for its summary and routine in the 20s. It can be seen that sociology was then considered a kind of basis for the educational action and oriented to withhold some of the inexorable effects of modernization. Key words: Sociology, Gilberto Freyre, Normal School of Pernambuco, Educational Reforms, Carneiro Leão.l’experience de gilberto freyre en Tant que professeur DE l’ecole normale de pernambuco (1929 -1930) Cet article aborde la reconstruction de l’expérience de Gilberto Freyre comme professeur à l’Ecole Normale de Pernambuco dans les années 1929 et 1930. Un premier niveau d’analyse permet de parler rapidement du contexte dans lequel a eu lieu la réforme éducationnelle qui a abouti à l’introduc-tion d’une nouvelle chaire de Sociologie dans le curriculum des normaliens de Pernambuco. Certaines attentes, ambi-guités et impasses du milieu dans lequel la Sociologie sera mise en valeur pour la formation des éducateurs ont pu être identifiées. Un deuxième niveau d’analyse permet d’examiner le programme des cours et le texte d’ouverture officielle de l’année, faite par Gilberto Freyre. C’est à partir de ces documents que nous avons essayé non seulement d’identifier quelques fondements sociologiques de l’auteur mais aussi les attentes concernant la connaissance sociologique, qui mobilisaient des efforts pour sa synthèse et pour qu’elle entre dans la routine, dans les années 20. Nous remarquerons que la Sociologie a donc été perçue comme une espèce de fondement pour l’action éducationnelle ainsi que destinée à contenir certains effets inexorables de la modernisation.
