- W2218290710 abstract "Abstract A metabolomic strategy has been developed to analyze the metabolome of the liver injury rat induced by CCl4 and hepatoprotective effects of Yinchenhao Tang (YCHT) and its major constituent, 6,7-dimethylesculetin (6,7-DME). Using the principal component analysis (PCA) method, seven urinary metabolites from control rats were compared to those from CCl4 treated rats − the metabolic trajectory indicates significant change between the control rats and the liver injury rats. YCHT was orally administrated to rats in advance of CCl4 treatment, and the change tendency of the seven metabolites gradually inclined to the control rats, so these metabolites can be used as indicators of occurrence, development, and recovery from liver injury. Three metabolites have been preliminarily identified, and related to the hepatoprotective effects of YCHT. It suggests that metabolomics could be applied to investigate the evaluation of the animal model and the integral effects of TCM formulae." @default.
