The first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) including rotary inertia is assumed for the beam element. The effects of Coriolis force and centrifugal force induced by the moving sprung mass are considered in governing equations. Since the properties of moving sprung mass are dependent on the instantaneous position of the moving mass on the inclined beam, they vary with time, and therefore, as a result we have an overall effective mass, damping, and stiffness of the entire vibrating system. The Newmark's time integration method was adopted in solving equations. The effect of the spring constant and the damper ratio on the Coriolis force and the centrifugal force of the inclined isotropic beam have been studied. Results show that Coriolis force in larger spring constant has significant influence on the dynamic response of the beam, but this parameter have no effect on centrifugal force effect. Also, damper ratio isn't an important parameter." @default.
