- W2246590320 abstract "As well-known, the important of isotope technology can not be over-emphasized for its versatile application. The area of critical isotope application can be divided into five portions; including Industrial, medical, astronautic, domestic and national secure. Isotopes' Medical applications were brand-new topics, which had not been developed till 1940. In U.S., it is required strategically to maintain isotopes' short supply for purposes of both national security and commercial demand. However, isotope is taken to enhance the welfare of human life directly in Taiwan, taking it as a very important, and practical element in the field of medical, agricultural, and industrial. Medical used isotopes and its application has become a very popular topic for more than ten years over. Cyclotron generating short half-life radioisotopes are the major concern for developing the isotope technology in Taiwan, for they are the key elements for further labeling procedure which is undertaken in an automatic synthesis box. According to the economic consideration, almost all of the therapeutic and stable isotopes are imported overseas instead of produced domestically. Isotope production technology plays the core role horizontally from cyclotron to PET scanner, vertically from diagnosis to therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals development." @default.
