- W2249955899 abstract "Since the origins of survey research, the discipline has been interested in improving quality of data, trying to reduce different types of bias. Methodologies aiming at improving quality of data have been gradually incorporated over the progress of this discipline. New strategies to reduce errors caused by undercoverage and non-response in units sample have been used by the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia in social surveys. These strategies have only been possible thanks to the record linkage between population frame and other information systems managed by Public Administration. The first experience of record linkage in the “Social Survey 2010: Education and Housing in Andalusia” has been very positive: the response rate has considerably increased standing at 72,7%. The aim of this article is to show the different processes leading to achieve these results." @default.
