The mechanism of adsorption of nitrate on ZnCl 2 treated coconut GAC was investigatedusing four simplified kinetic models : the rate parameters were calculated for each model. The kinetic analysis indicatedthat pseudo-second-order kinetic with pore-diffusion-controlled was the best correlation of the experimental kinetic data inthe present adsorption study.
