The observed spectra are dominated by transitions to the ${0}^{+}$, ${2}^{+}$, and ${4}^{+}$ members of the ground state rotational band in $^{150}mathrm{Nd}$ and by transitions to newly observed states at ${E}_{x}=2050ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}25, 2225ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}25, mathrm{and} 2460ifmmodepmelsetextpmfi{}25$ keV. Spin-parity assignments for the latter group of states are compatible with ${0}^{+}$, ${2}^{+}$, and ${4}^{+}$. The summed reduced $ensuremath{alpha}$ width for this group of excited states, presumably a rotational band, is approximately equal to that for the ground state rotational band. The presence of strongly excited $ensuremath{alpha}$-cluster states at low excitation energy in the deformed nucleus $^{150}mathrm{Nd}$, while not understood, is similar to the situation observed in the deformed actinide nuclei $^{228}mathrm{Ra}$ and $^{234}mathrm{Th}$.NUCLEAR REACTIONS $^{154}mathrm{Sm}(d, ^{6}mathrm{Li})^{150}mathrm{Nd}$, ${E}_{d}=33$ MeV; measured $ensuremath{sigma}(ensuremath{theta}, {E}_{x})$; $^{150}mathrm{Nd}$ deduced levels, ${S}_{ensuremath{alpha}}$, ${{ensuremath{gamma}}_{ensuremath{alpha}}}^{2}$, rotational bands." @default.
