Rice cultivation by transplanting method gave higher grain yield in paddy whereas the higher wheat yield was recorded when it was grown after direct seeded rice. FeSO4 fertilization in rice along with recommended NPK and sesbania green manuring also proved as the yield enhancing practice for rice, however in the same combination of nutrient sources when FeSO4 was replaced by MnSO4 in wheat, some increase was found in wheat yield; but not statistically significant over all the other treatments. Growing ofwheatafter direct seeded rice along with MnSO4 application and sesbania residual green manuring in combination with recommended NPK was found a better nutrient management practice in wheat under rice-wheat cropping system." @default.
