• W2275275005 abstract "Se presentan analisis realizados en una muestra de 86 estudiantes universitarios (73,3% mujeres, 26,7% varones; M = 23,40, DE = 4.85, Min = 18, Max = 50) en relacion a variables sociodemograficas, su rendimiento academico, su motivacion academica y sus niveles de depresion. Los datos se recolectaron mediante una encuesta sociodemografica y de rendimiento, la Adaptacion UBA/ANPCyT de la Escala de Motivacion Academica (Stover, de la Iglesia, Ongarato & Fernandez Liporace, 2011; Vallerand, Blais, Briere & Pelletier, 1989) y el Inventario de Depresion de Beck -en su segunda version- (Beck, Steer & Brown, 2005; Brenlla & Rodriguez, 2005). Los resultados indicaron que los varones presentaban mas motivacion extrinseca introyectada y externa. Los alumnos cuyos padres no poseian estudios superiores completos se encontraban mas amotivados, y quienes no habian tenido aplazos evidenciaban mayor motivacion intrinseca hacia las experiencias estimulantes. A diferencia de otros estudios, no se encontraron diferencias en los niveles de depresion segun variables sociodemograficas y academicas. The data was collected by a sociodemographic and academic questionnaire, the UBA/ANPCyT adaptation of the Academic Motivation Scale (Stover, de la Iglesia, Ongarato & Fernandez Liporace, 2011; Vallerand, Blais, Briere & Pelletier, 1989) and Beck’s Depression Inventory -second version- (Beck, Steer & Brown, 2005; Brenlla & Rodriguez, 2005). The results indicate that the man presented more introyected and external extrinsic motivation. The students whose parents did not have superior academic degrees were more amotivated, and those who did not have failed any exam showed more intrinsic motivations towards stimulating experiences. Differing from other studies, no differences were found in depression levels regarding sociodemographic and academic variables. Finally, low but significant associations were found between depression and intrinsic motivation towards knowledge, introyected extrinsic motivation and amotivation.Key wordsMotivation Depression Achievement Students" @default.
