- W2278146816 abstract "Background: Cuba, as other countries, investigates to elucidate the antitumoral defense mechanisms and the obtainment of immunomodulator products with therapeutic and antitumoral potential. Objective: To characterize the T cells that infiltrate these tumors, through the indirect immunofluorescence method, with the use of anti-CD3, CD4 and CD8 monoclonal antibodies. Method: A descriptive study to 41 patients operated of carcinoma of the breast was performed, in the Oncological Provincial Hospital Marie Curie of Camaguey province, from May 2005 to May 2006. The tissue samples were obtained by surgical extirpation of the tumor or mammary gland, with positive diagnosis of carcinoma. It was carried out the qualitative identification of these lymphocytes in the tissues and the radiolabel intensity was determined. Results: Out of 41 patients, 37 presented infiltrating ductal carcinoma, 32 of conventional type and five of comedocarcinoma type, the rest presented infiltrating lobular carcinoma; the comedocarcinoma had the biggest intensity in the radiolabel. The radiolabel intensity of the T cell was bigger for CD3 and CD4 and minor for CD8. Conclusions: Three histologic varieties were found, conventional infiltrating ductal carcinoma, ductal type comedocarcinoma and infiltrating lobular, the most frequent was the conventional type; no difference answer was found since were not detected remarkable changes in the radiolabel." @default.
