The results suggested an initial difficulty of the participants in the work experience, but also their acknowledgement as workers, the possibility of developing their identities at work, and the need to face the generated conflicts, and they highlighted the importance of the existence of career development programs. In conclusion, the career opportunities for people with disabilities in companies have stimulated a more receptive working space based on the difference and on the possibility of building an identity at work, in spite of the great difficulty of being inserted into this process, which is marked by several conflicts." @default.
