- W2282055293 abstract "Among Ubiquitous housing environments, consumer’s u-safety needs has been greatly focused in the field of study but it has been hardly found. A study on resident’s ubiquitous safety needs would be significant in that such research will give an important insight in the future oriented u-safety related products and services since it offers innovative business models concerned customer value. In this meaning, consumer innovative u-safety products and services will be continuously developed by service provider. The purpose of this study therefore was to estimate consumer’s needs and its factors affecting such explained variables. Research results shows that ubiquitous u-safety housing need was reveled as very higher level of mean value. Four ubiquitous safety categories were measured. Those are entrance control system, crime and disaster prevention system, information safety system, and electricity control system in case of emergency. Overall, age, residential area, income and current housing satisfaction showed statistically significant. Simulation on a basis of three multiple regressions showed that younger generation and higher income brackets are more likely to have higher needs of u-safety compared to comparison groups." @default.
