- W2283191552 abstract "Escrevi este artigo a partir de um olhar da antropologia urbana sobre as relações que os habitantes de um pequeno bairro de imigrantes trentino-tiroleses estabelecem com sua cidade. O nome desse bairro é Santa Olímpia e a cidade é Piracicaba. Propus-me compreender as formas de sociabilidade e conflitos vivenciados dentro e fora de Santa Olímpia a partir dos olhares e das maneiras de apropriação que os moradores do bairro fazem de Piracicaba. Por meio de uma perspectiva de perto e de dentro (Magnani, 2007: 4), busquei captar as formas sensíveis presentes na memória do bairro que movimentam a vida local. Identifiquei regularidades nos trajetos, pontos de encontro, conflitos e relações de troca dentro da cidade. Além disso, foi possível compreender como os moradores de Santa Olímpia (re)criam suas histórias por meio da memória e das ações de reivindicação de reconhecimento de seu patrimônio cultural. Santa Olimpia and its relations with the city of Piracicaba: memory and the everyday life of a tyrolean neighborhoodAbstract I wrote this article with an urban anthropology look of the relationships that the inhabitants of a small neighborhood of Trent Tyrolean immigrants establish with their city. The name of this neighborhood is Santa Olympia and the city is Piracicaba. I set out to understand the forms of sociability and conflicts experienced inside and outside Santa Olympia based on the neighborhood residents’ looks and means of appropriation of Piracicaba. Through a close and inside perspective (Magnani, 2007: 4), I sought to capture the sensitive forms present in the neighborhood’s memory that stir the local life. I identified regularities in paths, meeting points, conflicts and exchange relations within the city. Moreover, it was possible to understand how the residents of Santa Olympia (re)create their stories through the memories and the recognition claims of their cultural heritage.
