- W2288334872 abstract "The aim of the study rests with analyzing the onset and time evolution of the dynamical processes in plasma flows. The crucial information is obtained by measuring the radiation intensity in the core of the jet, scanned by the CCD cameras from two mutually perpendicular directions. Quasi-stationary regimes of plasma jets are usually characterized by local vortex structures in heat flows, noted for dynamical changes of the vorticity along the axis of the jet. The variant discussed in the paper makes it possible to identify the changes in dynamics by determining a three- dimensional course of the heat flow vector. The arrangement of the vortex structures generated by the vector potential is investigated considering a principal role of the product of enthalpy and flow velocity. The evolution of radiation intensity and dynamics of vortex structures in both the axial and radial direction about the jet's core is captured using the series of 8 shots within time interval of 100 mus. Such series give information about the motion of the structures in jet, which can be used to calculations of vorticity vector, also the correlation coefficient describing dynamical changes between two arbitrary shots. The analysis of vortex dynamics at flow rates 25 slm, 40 slm and 60 slm and electrical currents 150 A and 200 A is presented. To determine dynamics of vortex structures, we used suitable algorithm from the MATLAB program. The presented results prove occurrence of several dynamic regimes of vortex type in a quasi-stationary heat flow of jet. Of special importance is the information about the processes resulting in self-organization by forming helical convective cells within time interval of 100 mus.
