• W2289632318 abstract "In Colombia, rice crops are an important source of earnings, however, they are responsible for the accumulation of agro-industrial wastes wich become in a serious environmental problem. These wastes have a high content of lignocellulose and they need a complex process of degradation. In this work, the ability of ligninolytic fungal isolates from rice was estudied. Pleurotus ostreatus MF 1-83 was selected as the fungus who have the highest activity of ligninases in lignin culture. On the other hand the effect of addition of 7.5 mM copper sulfate to the wheat bran culture in the production ligninases was evaluated. It was found that the highest production of laccase was 10913.9 U / L at day 15 and manganese peroxidase 782.4 U / L at day 8, in the absence of copper sulfate, by oxidation techniques [acid 2,2 'azino-bis-(3 benzatiazoline ethyl sulfate) and 2,6-dimethoxyphenol oxidation respectively. The laccase enzyme was stable for 24 hours while it was maintaining at pH 5 to 61.7% of the enzyme activity and the manganese peroxidase maintained at pH 6 64.4% of its activity by 24 hours. The greater thermostability for laccases occurred at 25 ° C with 61.7% of activity for an hour and for manganese peroxidase at 30 ° C for an hour holding 60.7% of its activity. It was possible to obtain an enzyme extract with laccase and manganese peroxidase from the culture liquid of Pleurotus ostreatus fermentation MF 1-83 which is part of an extract lignocelulolitico for agroindustrial waste degradation." @default.
