The space within which the waiting is done forms the cruciblewithin which tensions play out among the three characters of the story. The wordwaiting trickles throughout the story like a bead of perspiration, rendering suchfamiliar experience strange. With reference to dialogism and intertextuality, Iintend to show that already in one of her earliest stories, Janette Turner Hospitalgives coherence to multiple disjunctions." @default.
