- W2308684775 abstract "RESUMO: A adubacao nitrogenada na cultura do milho influencia fortemente na produtividade de graos, porem sao grandes as perdas desse elemento no sistema solo-planta-atmosfera, exigindo cada vez o aperfeicoamento das tecnicas de fertilizacao. Objetivou-se com esse experimento determinar o efeito da adubacao foliar do milho com nitrogenio em diferentes doses, utilizando como fontes a ureia e o sulfato de amonio. O Experimento foi realizado em Alvorada do Sul (PR), durante o periodo de outono-inverno de 2008, em um Nitossolo Vermelho. Utilizou-se o delineamento em blocos casualizados, com quatro repeticoes, em esquema fatorial 4x2, sendo quatro doses de N (0, 5, 10 e 20 kg ha-1) aplicados via foliar no milho utilizando duas fontes de N (ureia e sulfato de amonio). Foram avaliados os parâmetros de crescimento da planta, teores de S e N nas folhas, alem dos componentes de produtividade. Doses crescentes de N via sulfato de amonio, ao contrario da ureia, reduz o crescimento das plantas de milho e diminuem a produtividade de graos. Uma dose baixa de N aplicada via foliar com ureia aumenta a produtividade do milho. ABSTRACT: Nitrogen fertilization in maize strongly influences the yield, but are large losses of this element in the soil-plant-atmosphere increasingly asking the improvement of fertilization techniques. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of foliar fertilization of maize with nitrogen at different rates, using sources such as urea and ammonium sulphate. The experiment was conducted in Alvorada do Sul (PR) during the autumn-winter 2008 in an Nitossolo Vermelho. We used a randomized block design with four replications in a factorial 4x2, with four N rates (0, 5, 10 and 20 kg ha-1) applied to the leaves in maize with two N sources (urea and sulfate ammonium). We evaluated the parameters of plant growth, concentrations of S and N in the leaves and the components of productivity. Increasing rates of N from ammonium sulfate instead of urea, reduces the growth of maize plants and reduce the yield. A low dose of N applied foliar urea increases the productivity of maize." @default.
