Geophysical methods can assist in all areas of assessment. As development proceeds, reservoir interval properties, structural elements, geomechanical stratigraphy, natural fracture networks and hydraulic fracture networks will all need detailed description to assist in the optimization process. Local water sources and disposal zones will also need to be identified, evaluated and characterized.
