Bu 77 olgu cesitli yonlerden incelenmis konuyla ilgili literaturdeki bilgi ve bulgularla karsilastirmasi yapilmistir.Isledikleri iddia olunan suclara karsi ceza ehliyeti olup olmadigi sorulan tanisi konmus 77 olgunun 74 'u erkek, 3 'u kadindir. En cok olgu 21-30 yas grubunda (34 olgu) gorulmustur. Suc cinsleri incelendiginde adam oldurme ve adam oldurmeye tesebbus sucunun (66 olgu) ile ilk sirayi aldigi, 4 olgu ile irza gecme, 3 olgu ile gasp, 2 olgu ile dikkatsizlik ve tedbirsizlik nedeniyle olume sebebiyet, l olgu ile araba hirsizligi, l olgu ile resmi evrakta sahtekarlik suclarinin izledigi tespit edilmistir. Adam oldurme ve adam oldurmeye tesebbus suclarindan sanik toplam 66 olguya ait dosya incelendiginde olayda kullanilan suc aletinin 40 olguda bicak, U olguda atesli silah, 7 olguda balta, 3 olguda sopa, 2 olguda esarp, ip, l olguda sis oldugu gorulmus, bu aletlerin magdirlarin vucuduna kac kere ika edildikleri; magdurlarin saniklara olan yakinliklari (akraba-komsu-arkadas vb.) ayri ayri incelenmistir. Ayrica caltsmamizdaki 77 olguya Gozlem Ihtisas Dairesi'nde cekilen EEG bulgulari ile uygulanan psikolojik test sonuclari degerlendirilmis, Epilepsi hastaliginin suc esnasinda ceza ehliyetini ne sekilde etkiledigi her olgu icin ayri ayri gozden gecirilerek irdelenmistir. AbstractEpilepsy and erimeThis study comprises 77 cases of epilepsy as diagnosed by psychiatric examination at the Department of Psychiatric Examination of the Council ofForensic Medicine in the years 1991-1995. The cases had been refeired vith the request of the evaluation of the erimindi liability. The cases were evaluated with regard to various aspects with subseguent comparison with thefindings of the literature on the subject.The 77 cases refeired with the reguest of the evaluation of criminal liability in a given erime comminitted by them consisted of 74 males and 3females. The majority of the cases (34) was observed in the age group of 21-30 years vith regard to the type of the erime committed, murder and attempt of murder, occupied the flrst rank (66) cases, followed by rape (4 cases9, siezure by violenece (3 cases), accidental homicide (2 cases), diar theft (l case) andforgery (l cases).Evaluating further the 66 cases of murder and attempt of murder, the instruments used in the erime were distributed as follows; knife (40 cases), firearms (11 cases), axt (7 cases), sticks (3 cases), muffler, rope in 2 cases, pike (l case). The number of the inflictions was examined as weel as the relationship between victim and the accused. Furthermore, EEG-findings of the 77 cases obtained in the Department of the Psychiatric Examination and the results of the psychological tests were evaluated.
