- W2316532364 abstract "The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of hospital ethical climate on turnover intentions of RNs and the relationships among demographic factors. A self-administered questionnaire was used in 245 RNs in Korea. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlations technique were used to analyze the data with the SPSS Win 15.0 program. Nurses perceived their workplace ethical climate as positive. The score on the ethical climate dimension related to ‘physicians’ was lowest. The three factors of ‘managers’, ‘hospital’, and ‘physicians’ were significantly associated with nurses’ intent to leave. These findings indicate that hospital nurse managers should be involved in enhancing ethical climate to improve nurse retention in hospitals." @default.
