- W2318146721 abstract "The present study aimed to analyze the perceptions of students in relation to learning in distance education mode of Accounting Course in Juazeiro/BA and Petrolina/PE. The study used descriptive, bibliographical and field methodology. As an instrument of data collection, we used a questionnaire with objective questions in the format of 5-point Likert to highlight their perception towards Distance Education. The application was made in person that served to meet the research objectives, the responses were tabulated in a spreadsheet. The results were divided into two groups: students from 1st to 4th period and 5th to 8th periods. The results show for the first group that 51 % of students were satisfied with the modality of distance education, 40 % are satisfied with their performance, 45 % believe that learning is effective, 53 % estimate that the institutions have credibility. At another point, the second groups are students 5th to 8th period, half of the respondents showed that students were satisfied with the methodology of education and consider their satisfactory performance, moreover believe that learning is effective. Regarding credibility, 71 % trust the EaD method with respect to courses of Accounting Higher Education Institutions of Juazeiro/BA and Petrolina/PE.
