Pore pressure prediction performed across large areas can be used as a more qualitative exploration tool. These large volumes provide an overview of pressure and fluid behaviour within the basin and can be used to identify important features, such as the behaviour of faults, over‐pressured compartments, Seal effectiveness etc. Such data can be used by geologists and reservoir engineers to improve understanding of hydrocarbon basins, identify potential drilling hazards and improve well positioning. The present paper summarises the PPP studies carried out over the entire OIL's operational area, and results discussed.Permalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/1.3513288FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 2010ISSN (print):1052-3812 ISSN (online):1949-4645Copyright: 2010 Pages: 4453 publication data© 2010 Copyright © 2010 Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 21 Oct 2010 CITATION INFORMATION Y.
