- W2320003754 abstract "Introduction: Proteinuria (P) is a precocious scoreboard of inflammation and renal damage. It has an important role in the detection, diagnosis and monitoring of renal disease in transplanted patients Aims: To evaluate the use of (P/CI), correlating it with the24h- P in renal transplanted patients. Materials and methods: 1511 samples of 24-h-P hs with its correspondig (P/CI), obtained from 197 adult renal transplanted patients with mor the 6 month of post-transplantation follow-ap between 2009 and 2011 at the HIBA. The population was divided into two samples: one to obtain a population of justification (755) and another one of validation (755).A scatter graft (graph of points) was carried aut. The coefficient of correlation was obtained by Pearson's test. A “Roc curve” análisis was carried aut to evaluate the sensibility and specifity of the P/CI and its correlation 24h-p which was considered the sensibilidad and the specificity of the P/CI for the diagnosis of P by limit point (0.15 P/CI). Results: The P/CI) and the (24 h-P) correlation, for Pearson's method, was greaty significant with an r = 0,89, P = 0,0001. The sensibility of the P/CI was 97 %, with a limit point of 0.15 for population of justification and 94 % for that of validation. The predictive negative value was greater of 92 % then por a P/CI for a of 0.15 and 84 % for that of 0.15. The specificity was lower than of 50 % for both. Conclusions: We have found significant correlation between the P/CI and the 24h-P. We obtained a highly significant sensibility, specificity of 50 % and a predictive negative value greater than of 92 % were obtained. Considering the autcomes mentioned above, the use of P/CI, seems to be a adequate method for the follow-up of transplanted patients." @default.
