- W2321876355 abstract "The purpose of this paper is to present ice accretion results on single and multi-element airfoils and the resulting performance loss, as computed by a Navier-Stokes solver. It involves the complete process from the trajectory calculation to the CFD computations to obtain the lift curve and pressure field around the airfoil. The ice accretion is predicted using CANICE and CANICE-ME codes and the performance are calculated by a structured, unsteady, 2-D finite-difference Navier-Stokes solver including the Baldwin-Lomax turbulence model. This paper is the result of collaborative work between the J.-A. Bombardier Aeronautical Chair group and Professor Sankar's research group at Georgia Tech." @default.
