- W2321892214 abstract "1990～2001年にかけて,東京都千代田区皇居及び港区赤坂御用地でカワセミの延べ44回の繁殖例(繁殖試行を含む)を観察した。1繁殖期間中の繁殖回数は1～3回(平均1.82回)で,2回以上の場合,ほとんどのつがいが同一巣穴を使用した。1992年から実施した繁殖個体,巣立ち雛への標識調査より,繁殖期間中,皇居では2つがい,赤坂御用地では1つがいが生息し,同つがいで2年以上,個々の繁殖個体については3～4年繁殖活動を行ったと推定される事例があった。皇居内では,直線距離100～180mの異なる2営巣地間で4回の同時期繁殖が行われたが,この最短距離値がヨーロッパや国内の値と比しても非常に短距離であり,また,皇居•赤坂御用地両地区とも,繁殖時の営巣地で時々余剰個体と思われる個体が観察されたことより,更なる営巣地の増設による調査地内の繁殖個体数が増加する可能性は高いと思われる。繁殖期間中に雄個体が,皇居から赤坂御用地へ移動し,両地区で繁殖を行った例が1例。両地区での平均産卵数は6.44卵,平均巣立ち雛数は6.23羽で,ヨーロッパや国内の平均値とほぼ同値であり,また産卵数,巣立ち雛数に大差がないことより巣内における卵や雛の損失は少ないと推定される。両地区で著者らが標識したと判断された個体が,調査地外で繁殖活動を行っていたことが確認された例は2例あり,1例は1996～97年皇居で繁殖した雄が,約24km離れた清瀬市金山緑地公園で3回繁殖し,もう1例は,皇居または赤坂御用地で繁殖もしくは巣立ったと思われる個体が西に約2kmの明治神宮内苑で求愛給餌を行っていたことが観察されている。" @default.
