- W2321978199 abstract "The elastic scattering of $^{7}mathrm{Li}$+$^{16}mathrm{O}$ has been measured at ${E}_{mathrm{Li}}=50$ MeV and fitted with an optical model potential. The $^{16}mathrm{O}$($^{7}mathrm{Li}$,$^{7}mathrm{Be}$)$^{16}mathrm{N}$ reaction has been investigated at ${E}_{mathrm{Li}}=50$ MeV. States and groups of states were observed up to 6.3 MeV excitation in the $^{16}mathrm{N}$+$^{7}mathrm{Be}$ system. Angular distributions for $^{16}mathrm{N}$ in ${2}^{ensuremath{-}}$ 0.0 MeV, ${3}^{ensuremath{-}}$ 0.297 MeV, and ${4}^{ensuremath{-}}$ 6.17 MeV states with $^{7}mathrm{Be}$ in its ground state ($^{7}mathrm{Be}_{0}$), and for $^{16}mathrm{N}$ in the ${3}^{ensuremath{-}}$ 0.297 MeV state with $^{7}mathrm{Be}$ in its first excited state ($^{7}mathrm{Be}_{1}$), have been compared with distorted-wave Born approximation calculations. The distorted-wave Born approximation form factors were calculated microscopically using central and tensor forces and realistic transition densities. The calculations fail to reproduce the cross sections." @default.
