- W2322142751 abstract "The paper presents a closed-form sub-optimal guidance law with an intercept angle constraint for a missile with arbitrary time varying speed, due to realistic physical models such as thrust, gravity, and, aerodynamics. The optimization assumes small trajectory corrections around a collision course with a fixed predicted intercept point, where the time-varying speed is known and independent of the state and control, thus allowing an analytical solution. Providing closed-form solutions for arbitrary trajectories requires knowledge of the time varying speed, given the influence of the non-linear physical models. This information is obtained using a simple iterative numerical routine. The resulting guidance scheme comprises open-loop scheduling of time-varying guidance gains, combined with real-time zero effort errors calculation, thus producing a robust feedback-type command. The guidance law is demonstrated in non-linear simulation and compared to non-linear optimal control solutions." @default.
