- W2322374734 abstract "이 논문에서는 울리히 벡의 위험사회 이론을 그동안 많이 조명되어온 ‘위험’의 관점에서보다는 사회이론적 관점에서 재해석하였다. 여기에서 가장 중요한 것은 사회적 결속 형태의 변화이다. 벡은 개인화 테제를 통해서 위험사회의 위험이 생태적 위험인 동시에 사회 통합의 위험이기도 하다는 것을 밝혔다. 자본주의 산업사회가 생태계를 착취하고 타자화함으로써 생태계의 위험을 체계적으로 생산했다면, (노동)시장의 논리가 사회세계의 모든 영역을 지배하게 됨으로써 계급적 결속력과 국민국가의 결속력, 가족의 결속력을 모두 약화시킨 것으로 본다. 이것은 개인들을 제1근대성의 준신분제적 구속으로부터 해방시키는 것인 동시에, 그들을 새로운 빈곤과 불안으로 몰아넣는 이율배반적 과정이다. 그러나 맑스와 베버가 목격했던 근대 초기와 달리 현재의 이러한 이율배반은 생태계의 파괴와 인류의 절멸 가능성이라는 인류 공통의 막다른 골목 안에서 이루어지고 있다는 것이 위험사회를 산업사회로부터 구별하는 시대적 특징이다. 이것은 한편으로는 계급과 민족을 초월한 보편적 사회연대의 가능성을 강압하는 실존적 조건을 이루며, 다른 한편으로는 위험을 정의하고 규정하는 담론 정치에서 출발하여 새로운 하위 정치의 공간을 여는 근거가 된다. 위험의 담론 정치, 하위 정치는 의사소통의 성찰적 과정을 통해 이루어질 뿐 아니라, 다양한 종류의 근본주의 등 파시즘적 요소들을 결집시킬 수 있는 반동적 가능성 역시 포함한다. 이러한 정치적 충돌의 가능성으로 인해서 위험사회의 하위 정치는 도덕 정치의 성격이 아니라 마키아벨리즘의 성격을 갖게 되는 것으로 필자는 이해한다." @default.
