However, there are other associated symptoms, such as pain or discomfort to ejaculate, suprapubic pain, penile pain not related to urination, pain in the perineum, testicular pain and dysuria that are unrelated to symptoms obstructive / irritative urinary and erectile function. The etiology is unknown, but the proposals include infectious, autoimmune, neurological and psychiatric causes. Clinical studies have suggested an association with the age, condition metabolic syndrome, and International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF) scores. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between the frequency of comorbidities and other urological symptoms related to pelvic pain. METHODS Data were collected from 870 men who participated in a screening campaign for prostate cancer. We Performed research on age, race, diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia (in use statin), heart disease and stroke, measure weight, height, waist circumference and hip. Accomplished International Prostate Symptom Score questionnaire (IPSS), the question about pain UO areas discomfort last week, IIEF 5 questionnaire, years of schooling. Statistical analysis was performed using the chi-square test. RESULTS In the study, the average age was 60.8 years (Table 1). The symptoms are dysuria order of frequency (21.5%), suprapubic pain (19.8%) testicular (17.6%), perineum (16.3%), during or after ejaculation (10.4%) and penis (9.3%). All the painful symptoms were associated with worsening of IPSS. (p <0.001). There was no association with IIEF5, or BMC and waist-hip ratio) or diabetes. Some symptoms were related to years of education, race, younger age, hypertension and dyslipidemia. (Table 2) CONCLUSIONS In our study, the painful symptoms are frequent and associated with LUTS. Also was associated with age, race, educational level, hypertension and dyslipidemia. There was no association with erectile dysfunction, diabetes and BMC.
