• W2324108056 abstract "To compare the pregnancy rate (PR) of embryo transfer with Day 3 embryos in fresh embryo transfer (FT) group versus cryo-thaw embryo transfer (CT) group with a risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). A cohort study was undertaken at the Dongtan Cheil Women's Clinic IVF Center in Kyung-gi-do, South Korea. The study population includes 99 FT group and 38 CT group at risk of OHSS (≥20 oocytes were collected) in IVF/ICSI cycles performed from January 2010 to December 2012. If patients developed symptoms strongly suggestive of OHSS, and Hct >45%, on day three, their embryos were electively cryopreserved by vitrification. Parametric outcomes were analyzed by unpaired Student's t-test with differences considered significant at P<0.05. A total of 99 FT cycles and 38 CT cycles met the inclusion criteria. The mean age was 32.3 for FT group and 31.9 for CT group. And mean number of cumulus-oocyte-complexes retrieved was 25 FT group and 27 CT group. The mean number of embryos transfer was 2.7 for FT group, 3.0 for CT group. There was no significant difference (P>0.05). Compared to the FT group, the CT group showed significant higher in biochemical PR. There was a significantly lower embryo grade in the CT group compared with the FT group.
