Health has been defined by the constitution of WHO as a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease. On the other hand, health education has been defined by many as the sum of all experiences which favorably influence habits, attitudes, and knowledge relating to individual, community and racial health. Thus, health education embodies every activity which directly affects every individual every hour of his day, and therefore it cannot very well be compartmentalized.
