- W2324732010 abstract "近年，折り紙の折畳み技術は，数学，情報科学，材料工学，構造工学，建築，デザインなどさまざまな分野において，「折紙工学- Origami Engineering」として，国内外で盛んに研究が行われるようになってきている．折り紙の折畳みには，大きく分けて2つの特長がある．i) 折ることで，簡単に１枚の基板（2次元形状）から立体（3次元形状）が作り出せること，ii) 立体的な形状をコンパクトに折畳み収納できることである．これらの特長を活かし，折り畳み技術の応用を目指した研究・開発も行われており，代表例としては，宇宙で使用するアンテナや太陽パネルのデザインへの応用である．本稿では，著者がこれまで行ってきた折紙工学の医療分野への応用研究に関して，動脈硬化で詰まった血管を広げたり，動脈瘤により弱った血管の破裂を防ぐ治療に用いられるステントグラフトという医療器具への応用と，細胞の立体構造の作製し，再生医療に応用する研究に関して紹介したいと思う．" @default.
