- W2325868272 abstract "Integrated terminal guidance and autopilot laws are developed for Endo-atmospheric kinetickill missiles. In order to minimize the missile-totarget maneuverability superiority requirement, the guidance enforces prescribed collision condition by regulating the direction of target line-of-sight line. This is achieved by steering the missile to a chosen missile-target invariant collision-line. The proposed design integrates in a single loop, guidance and missile attitude control loops. It allows atmospheric advantages to be realized, such as combining normal divert capabilities achievable by aerodynamic effects together with the smaller response time of divert thrusters. This paper is concerned with the application of subspacestabilization theory to simultaneously control missile attitude and guidance. The missile errorstate is thereby steered to the intersection subspace that embodies prescribed guidance and attitude error-response, while subsequently controlling its motion on the intersection subspace. The subspace stabilization technique used not only aims to drive error-response to the origin as ordinary pole placement would do, but actually steers the error state to a subspace embodying the desired error response and makes that subspace invariant thereby achieving both stability and robustness performance. The proposed control technique accommodates uncertain effects in the plant model, and in particular, the target motion with respect to the chosen line-of-sight, with Disturbance-Observers as used in disturbance accommodating control. Extensive numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the validity of proposed design." @default.
