- W2326307972 abstract "As a result of the injection of several endocrinic perparations into the animal of which pituitary was extracted and treated preliminary with Phenobarbital, a responsive effect was observed only by posterior pituitary hormone, namely-a certain increase of basophile leucocytes was recognized. Accordingly, it seems that there is a closer relation between increase of basophile leucocytes and posterior pituitary hormone. In the animal of which both adrenal glands were extracted, an increase of basophile leucocytes was also observed only by posterior pituitary hormone. The above result suggests that adrenal gland is not absolutely necessary to posterior pituitary homone for an increase of basophile leucocytes. Meanwhile, the phenomena that anterior pituitary hormone did not show any increase of basophile leucocytes, suggests anterior pituitary hormone necessitates the interposition of adrenal gland in somewhere on the course of increasing basophile leucocytes. It also seems that an increase of basophile leucocytes depends rather on the oxytocin of posterior pituitary hormone than its vasopressin." @default.
