The temperature-dependent relaxation of the directional anisotropy implies a thermally activated motion of the probe nuclei relative to the extranuclear field with the activation energy of $0.029(3)phantom{rule{0.3em}{0ex}}mathrm{eV}$. As regards the electronic property, it is strongly suggested from a measurement under an external magnetic field that the $^{140}mathrm{Ce}$ ions in motion are in the state of ${mathrm{Ce}}^{3+}$." @default.
