But FWI is extremely computer intensive, and cannot be applied to real data widely. In this paper, by generating several super‐shots, the numbers of shots are reduced, and thus, the computational cost is also reduced. Furthermore, we suppress the crosstalk noises and the artifacts caused by summation by randomly regenerating the super‐shots between iterations. To test our algorithm, we implement fast FWI to reconstruct the Marmousi velocity model using synthetic data generated by the finite‐difference time domain in acoustic media.
