The conductivity and viscosity increase spontaneously with time. At a conductivity of 2.5 × 10−3 Ω−1cm−1 and 20°C, pseudocumene gives the highest viscosity value and ethylbenzene-toluene (1:1 volume) produces the lowest viscosity.The observed results have demonstrated a non-Stokesian behaviour for all the solutions studied and a relay type mechanism for the conductivity.The data presented should be useful in the design of industrial plating systems for aluminium e1ectrodeposition from organic electrolytes. Résumé La viscosité, la conductivité spécifique et la densité de solutions de Al2Br6 dans plusieurs solvants et mélanges de solvants aromatiques ont été déterminées. La conductivité et la viscosité croissant spontanément dans le temps à 20°C. Dans des solutions ayant une conductivité de 2.5 × 10−3 Ω−1cm−1, le pseudocumène donne des valeurs de viscosité les plus élevées tandis que le toluène-éthylbenzène (1:1 volume) produit les viscosités les plus basses.Les résultats observés démontrent un comportement non-Stokien de toutes les solutions étudiées et un mécanism de conductivité de type relais.Ces données sont utiles dans le “design” de systémes d'électrolyse industrielle de l'aluminium en milieu organique." @default.
