The generalized S transform is able to adjust the variation trend of Gaussian window function with the frequency scale to the velocity control of time window width with frequency variation, according to the distribution character of real seismic data. In this paper, the author made a time‐frequency analysis with generalized S transform, found the dominant frequency corresponding to seismic reflection feature of mound‐bank reservoir in platform is 15–25hz, then made a impedance inversion to the mound‐bank bodies on the base of seismic pure wave data volume of 15∼25Hz, the recognizing accuracy of the mound‐bank bodies in mesa is improved by the frequency‐division impedance inversion.Permalink: https://doi.org/10.1190/1.4705022FiguresReferencesRelatedDetails International Geophysical Conference, Shenzhen, China, November 7–10, 2011ISSN (online):2159-6832Copyright: 2011 Pages: publication data© 2011 Copyright © 2011 Society of Petroleum Geophysicists, Society of Exploration GeophysicistsPublisher:Society of Exploration Geophysicists HistoryPublished: 10 Apr 2012 CITATION INFORMATION Huimin Hao, Jie Zhang, Wang Zhen‐qing, Wang Hong‐bin, and Zhang Hu‐quan, (2011), Application of frequency‐division impedance inversion to prediction of mound‐bank bodies reservoir in Tazhong area, SEG Global Meeting Abstracts : 37-37. https://doi.org/10.1190/1.4705022 Plain-Language Summary PDF DownloadLoading ..." @default.
