Fenpyroximate は半減期26.3～49.7日で減少し, 12の代謝分解物が同定された. 主代謝分解物は (E)-4-[(1,3-dimethyl-5-phenoxypyrazol-4-yl)-methyleneaminooximethyl]benzoic acid, 1,3-dimethyl-5-phenoxypyrazole-4-carbonitrile および 1,3-dimethyl-5-phenoxypyrazole-4-carboxylic acid であり, 28日後におのおの添加量の3～9, 8～9および3%検出された. 14CO2生成は徐々に増加し, 112日後には両標識体でおのおの17および51.2～64.6%に達した. 滅菌土壌では, 112日後においても添加した放射能の94%以上が fenpyroximate として存在し, 14CO2生成は0.3%以下とわずかであった. 同定された代謝分解物の構造から, fenpyroximate は土壌中でエステル結合の開裂, オキシムエーテルの開裂および異性化, N-脱メチル化, 3位メチル基の酸化, 5位フェノキシ基の4′位水酸化により分解し, 最終的にはCO2に無機化されるか bound residue を形成すると考えられた." @default.
