- W2330358412 abstract "Calcium phosphates (CaP) have been successfully coated on TiO2 loaded SBA-15 by a facile inner-pore sol–gel process. The CaP coating amounts can be easily tuned in the range of 4.6–18.7 wt %. Characterization by XRD, N2 sorption, TEM, EDX, and FT-IR techniques reveals the composites possess ordered mesopore structures, large specific surface areas (259–444 cm2/g), uniform pore sizes (6.4–7.1 nm), and a highly dispersed CaP phase within the TiO2/SBA-15 frameworks. The exploration on adsorption and adsorption-photocatalysis of a model dye for the composite materials was carried out. The adsorption capabilities and the derived pore occupancy for dyes were increased by over twice for the CaP coatings incorporating TiO2/SBA-15 composites, which also positively influenced the photodegradation efficiency. A scheme regarding photodegradation enhancement induced by dye enrichments has been proposed to illustrate the adsorption-photodegradation process." @default.
