- W2333815825 abstract "A hole-doped Hubbard model on anisotropic triangular lattices is studied using a variational Monte Carlo method, to elucidate origins of superconductivity and a crossover between Fermi-liquid and non-Fermi-liquid metals, observed in κ-(BEDT-TTF)4Hg2.89Br8. As trial wave functions, we consider correlated BCS states with different pairing symmetries. Even in systems with strong geometric frustration, a dx2−y2 -wave pairing state is realized as the most stable state. This stabilization stems from a marked band renormalization effect owing to the electron correlation. In addition, in the metallic phase near half-filling, a crossover between two metallic states in which the electric conduction mechanism is qualitatively different occurs close to the Mott critical point at half-filling. Our result suggests that the crossover observed in κ-(BEDT-TTF)4Hg2.89Br8 is characterisic of a metal located near the Mott transition." @default.
