And the complex was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, UV–vis spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric technology, X-ray powder diffraction and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, the complex was combined with Bi2WO6 to form a composite, which was used as photocatalyst to degrade the basic dye methylene blue (MB) under the Xe lamp irradiation. The result revealed that the photocatalytic activity of the composite was better than that of the pure Bi2WO6 and the complex. In addition, the mechanism of the photocatalysis was also studied." @default.
