- W2336851152 abstract "A double vision of the utilisation of magnetic fields in clinical applications is presented. A historical perspective is shown first, that outlines the relation between the increasingly better results due to the utilisation of these techniques and the continuous improvement of the knowledge in biomagnetism. It is possible to see a good agreement among the different models that make up the principles of the effects of the magnetic fields on the different functions and organs that constitute the human anatomy and physiology. The activation of the ions for the magnetic field, as a model for absorption of energy of the field according to a cyclotronic process, first, and second the accordance of such process with the phenomenon known as paramagnetic electronic resonance, allow to establish that the different bioelectromagnetical phenomena really are related facets of the interaction process. It is also possible to see that the development of these techniques has been very dissimilar if we compare their evolution in the countries of our western environment with that took place in the countries of the area led by the former Soviet Union. In our next environment the biomagnetism was initially used as a part of the electrotherapy and in osseous tissue repair. In the Eastern countries, it was mainly used for current problems of the internal medicine, and besides this, the magnetic field was applied simultaneously with other physical medicine techniques. In the technical literature it is frequent to find as habitual concepts, terms like magnetolaser, magnetoiontophoresis, etc." @default.
