• W2338962693 abstract "Evaluar la eficiencia tecnica del programa de diabetes (DM2) en unidades de primer nivel de atencion de los Servicios de Salud de San Luis Potosi. Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo, observacional y transversal. La muestra se conformo aleatoriamente con 280 expedientes clinicos de 23 unidades de salud. Se recolectaron variables sociodemograficas, datos de indicadores de estructura, proceso y resultado registrados en los expedientes. Se empleo estadistica descriptiva e inferencial, efectuandose correlacion de Pearson para medir el grado de asociacion de indicadores de proceso y resultado. Los recursos humanos fueron inadecuados (56.5%), explicable por el numero, distribucion y caracteristicas de medicos y enfermeras que operativizan el programa de DM2; destacando que el 54.5% de este personal son pasantes en servicio social. Respecto al indicador de proceso se califico como inadecuado (73.9%), dado que la dimension de examenes de laboratorio resulto no adecuada (65.4%) y la categoria de referencia del usuario con el medico especialista se catalogo tambien inadecuada en 56.1%. En cuanto al indicador de resultado se considero inadecuado (78.9%) a partir de los datos de valoracion clinica y examenes de laboratorio, calificados como no adecuados en 41.4% y 75.0% respectivamente. La medicion del grado de asociacion entre proceso y resultado obtenida mediante el coeficiente de Pearson, indico correlacion positiva media (r= 0.59), con una p significativa (0.000). La evaluacion de la eficiencia tecnica valorada en el programa de DM2 mediante indicadores de estructura, proceso y resultado, se estimo como inadecuada con un promedio de 75.6%. Abstract To evaluate the diabetes (DM2) program technical efficiency in first level health care facilities in San Luis Potosi. Quantitative descriptive, observational and transversal study. The sample consisted of 280 random medical files of 23 health centers. Sociodemographic variables, structure indicator data, process and results registered in the files were gathered. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used, utilizing Pearson correlation to measure the level of association of process indicators and results.The human resource resulted as inadequate (56.5%), given the number, distribution, and characteristics of doctors and nurses who operate the DM2 program; highlighting that 54.5% of this personnel are interns performing community service. Regarding the process indicator, it qualified as inadequate (73.9%), given that the dimension of the laboratory analysis resulted as inadequate (65.4%) and the reference category of the user with the medical specialist was also classified as inadequate in 56.1%. The results indicator was considered inadequate (78.9%) from the clinical evaluation data and laboratory analysis, classified as inadequate in 41.4% y 75.0% respectively. The measurement obtained from the level of association between the process and the results using the Pearson coefficient, indicated a median positive correlation (r= 0.59), with an indicative p (0.000). The evaluation of technical efficiency estimated in the DM2 program by means of structure indicators, process and results, was deemed inadequate with an average of 75.6%.
