Bu sorulara verilen cevaplar degerlendirildiginde, meslegin aktif olarak 15-25 yil yapilabilecegi, kamuda is olanagi olursa bu isi birakabilecek hekimlerin oldugu, aylik ortalama gelir seviyelerinin 1000-4000 TL oldugu, ayrica serbest klinik acmak icin uzmanligin gerekli oldugu ve bolgede calisan cok sayida ampirik bulundugu bildirildi. Veteriner Hekimler Odalarinin bolgedeki hekimlere katkilarinin az ve iliskilerinin zayif oldugu, ilac firmalari-hekim iliskilerinin daha iyi oldugu ve mumessillerle fazla sorun yasamadiklari, hayvan yetistiricileriyle ise ozellikle maddi konularda sorun yasadiklari ifade edildi. Ayrica bolgede hayvancilik yapan kisilerin hayvan yetistiriciligi ve beslenmesi ile ilgili olarak ciddi egitilmeleri gerektigi, fakulteden branslasarak mezun olmanin daha iyi olabilecegi ve fakultede okutulan dersler icerisinde ozellikle ic hastaliklari konularinin pratikte daha yararli oldugu belirtildi. Sonuc olarak, elde edilen verilerin ilgili kurum ve kuruluslarca degerlendirilmesinin mesleki gelisime yarari olacagi kanisina varildi. Anahtar Kelimeler Anket, Serbest Veteriner Hekimler, Mesleki Problemler SUMMARY A total of 42 (2 women, 40 men) private veterinary surgeons who practise their profession in the towns and cities (Van, Hakkari, Agri, Igdir, Kars, Bitlis, Mus, Diyarbakir, Batman and Sirnak) located in the region of East and South East Anatolia were included to the present study. In this study, questions asked were about personal informations, relations between city or town agriculture directory, Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons, drug companies and animal producer and also were about scientific development and diseases distributions. The results revealed that their profession can actively be performed at most about 15-25 years. If they get oportunity of the private veterinary surgeons want to work at sivil service. Mean monthly income was about 1000-4000 TL. To practice private veterinary surgery, speciality believed to be necessary. Emprics reported to be widespread in these regions. Private veterinary surgeons also believed to have least relation with Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons and has little contribution to them. Relations between drug companies were good, and having no big problems with them. Only problem faced with the animal producers were financial. Private veterinary surgeons believed that the animal owners should be educated about animal production and husbandry. Furthermore, they believed that the Internal Diseases lectures given at the faculty are the most usefull in practice. As a result; evaluation obtained from this questionnaire should be taken into consideration by concerning foundations, if so; our profession is believed to be improved." @default.
