The retention of human resources has been shown to be momentous to the development and the accomplishment of the organization‘s goals and objectives. Employee motivation and retention is a process in which the organization acknowledges their responsibility for eminence of organizational performance as well as employee skills. Retention of employees can be a vital source of competitive advantage for any organization. Employee departures can have a significant effect on the execution of business plans and may eventually cause a parallel decline in productivity. Guidance implies constructive enlargement in organizational motives, workforce recognition, training and promotional opportunities, and effective communication for optimum enhancement of employee motivation and retention. These types of Guidance programs help in enhancing the employee behavior and attitude towards the job and also uplift their morale.
