- W2347347389 abstract "Objective To analyze treatment outcome of pulmonary tuberculosis in 2002-2005 in Huoshan county and provide the basis for making policy of TB control.Method The data from TB quarterly,annual reporting system and tuberculosis patient register,reporting card of infectious disease and other related information during 2002-2005 in Huoshan county was collected and analyzed.Results The cure rate of new smear positive cases was raised from 54.83% in 2002 to 85.09% in 2005.The cure rate of re-treatment smear positive cases was raised from 28.13% in 2002 to 75.86% in 2005.The initial treatment smear negative cases had been treated with Anti-tuberculosis drugs,the rate of compliment their treatment courses was raised(P0.05).There was no significant difference on the cure rate of new smear positive cases between male and female cases,but the cure rate in the group of 35～44 years old cases and 0～14 years old cases was higher than that in other age group.The cure rate of teacher and worker was higher than that of other occupation.Conclusion The performance of TB control in Huoshan had been improved.Implemntation of DOTS and quality improvement of DOTS are still the key to keep the higher level of cure rate." @default.
