- W2347842007 abstract "Objective:To understand the status of child neglect aged 3～6 years old in urban areas,Wuhan.Methods:1 154 families were investigated by Evaluation Questionnaire of Child Neglect of Urban Children Aged 3～6 years in China.Results:The total neglect rate and degree of preschool children in urban areas of Wuhan were 24.96% and 40.72.There was no difference in total neglect degree between different age groups,but there was significant difference in total neglect rate between different age groups,the total neglect rates of children aged 5 years and 6 years were the highest and lowest,respectively.In boys and girls,the neglect rates of safety and emotion were the highest,while the neglect rate of medicine was the lowest.The neglect degrees of education and physical were the highest,while the neglect degree of emotion was the lowest.The neglect rates of education and medicine were the highest in children aged 3 years,and the lowest in children aged 6 years.The neglect degrees of emotion and education were the highest in children aged 6 years,and the lowest in children aged 4 years.The proportion of one and two types of neglect at the same was high(77.78%),and that of four and five types of neglect was low(11.12%).Conclusion:The problem of child neglect aged 3～6 years in urban areas in Wuhan is serious,which need more attention." @default.
